Donations
Thank you to all community members for your ongoing support of Pellatt United Firefighters / Pellatt Community Centre, allowing us to provide volunteer-based fire and emergency services, mutual aid to adjacent areas, and to run the wonderful asset that is the community centre.
PUFF is funded by the tax levy administered by the Local Services Board, which currently provides about 70% of our running costs, and by fundraising events, donations, rental income, and revenue from fire calls and response to motor vehicle accidents. (We receive no reimbursement for medical calls, which are typically about three quarters of the calls we respond to.)
The PUFF Board aims to create a Capital Replacement Fund of $250,000 to cover expected future building repairs and vehicle replacement. We are about halfway to our aim.
If you would like to donate to PUFF to help with our operational costs, or to help build the Capital Fund, you can:
- Send an e-transfer to pellattfire@gmail.com. (Auto-deposit enabled, no security password needed).
- Mail a cheque to PUFF, 1 Firehall Road, Hwy 641, RR 1, Keewatin, ON P0X 1C0.
- Drop off cash or a cheque at Bennett’s Marine.
- Use the donation link below to donate using a credit card.
PUFF is a registered charity. We issue tax receipts for all donations, including Donations in Kind (goods and services).
