Operating Principles

• Provide services to the highest possible standards conistent with available staffing and equipment
• Respond to service requests in a timely manner, consistent with all federal, provincial, and local laws.
• Maintain an active training program for all personnel, in order to ensure high standards are met. Training to be consistent with, and equivalent or superior to standards established by recognized local, provincial, and national authorities.
• Volunteers will be treated with respect. They are our most valuable asst and they give of themselves in many ways; not the least of which is placing themselves in “harms way” in order to serve their community.
• Volunteers assume a responsibility to attend emergency calls as required, and to attend regular training sessions in order to maintain a safe and efficient operation.
