The Local Services Board of Pellatt, Pelican, Umbach, Gidley is a local services board in the Province of Ontario and operates under the provisions of the Northern Services Boards Act. Request for Maintenance or to Acquire 911 Property Signage
If you are interested in acquiring 911 signage for your property in the PPUG townships, you must meet the following criteria:
1. You are the owner of the property, and
2. There is a structure on said property (a building, trailer, etc.).

Text for 9-1-1 Services
The PPUG Local Services Board has recently made inquiries related to Text for 9-1-1 services for the deaf, deafened, hard of hearing or speech impaired community (DHHSI). The call centre that we work through, North Bay OPP, has capacity to offer this service.
Individuals interested in this service must register through their service provider. More details on the following link: https://www.textwith911.ca/en/wireless-service-providers/
The North Bay OPP is the first point of contact for individuals needing emergency 9-1-1 service. The call centre then routes the call to the appropriate dispatch service for police, fire or ambulance.
